
Superdrug is delighted to announce the first million users of its new Beautycard loyalty card. Since its launch on 11th May customers have been snapping up the card in store and there are now over one million active users.
Steve Jebson, Superdrug Commercial Director said: “We are delighted by the instant success of the Beautycard. Customers have really got behind the fact that with our card it’s not just about the points you get automatically, it’s about looking out for bonus points which really make a difference to their Beautycard balance.”
The launch has been promoted through print advertising and in store promotion, and a new dedicated advertising campaign on television starring actress Joanna Page.
The Beautycard, which doubles as a handy mirror, was been designed after extensive customer research to ensure it earns its place in handbags, purses and wallets across the country.
The Beautycard can be used to earn points online at www.superdrug.com and in store, and points can be redeemed in store. Importantly customers can part pay for products with their points, and can choose favourite brands on which to collect extra points during special promotions.
To celebrate the launch customers can earn 50 bonus points for every £5 spent on Superdrug branded products in store (until 7th June), while online during the same period customers will receive 10 points per pound on all shopping1, plus there will be 1,000 chances to win 1,000 points every week.
