Peacocks, the UK’s hottest value fashion retailer announces the launch
of its next collaboration with Pearl Lowe, who has designed a fashion collection
of vintage inspired tea dresses and accessories for spring 2010.
The collection will be modeled by her daughter and style leader, Daisy Lowe and the campaign photographed by Mary McCartney.
Following the success of Pearl’s debut party dress collection for Peacocks last season, her spring collection has been extended to include jeans, Tee shirts and cardigans, in addition to Pearl’s trademark vintage inspired dresses.
Pearl’s new spring collection is a celebration of the English countryside, seeking inspiration from blossoms, summer picnics and her family life in Somerset.
The range is set to launch in selected Peacocks’ stores 16th May 2010, with prices starting from £14 for a slogan tee to £35 for a vintage inspired floral tea dress. All fashion will be available in sizes 8 to 16.
Pearl Lowe said: “I’m delighted to be designing this second collection from Peacocks and moving away from dressing for special occasions to lovely things for everyday, but with a few special party dresses thrown in. My inspiration takes in riverside summer picnics, croquet on the lawn and long fun-filled summer days. Everyone knows my love of vintage and I haven’t let down my fellow lovers of dresses inspired by days gone by with some fabulous summer tea dresses.”
Daisy Lowe said: “Summer is my favourite season and there is no doubt that every single item in my mum’s new collection is going to be well worn this summer by me and my girlfriends.”
