This August, B&Q invites customers to sit down, relax and enjoy its
new Furniture Collection. The UK’s leading home improvement retailer
is investing in a new, wider range of furniture for shoppers as the ‘Don’t
move, improve’ revolution continues this year.
The new ranges will be available online at www.diy.com and to order via
the ‘Furniture Collection’ brochure from 1st August 2009 and
will include British manufactured upholstery and living furniture ranges
as well as home study solutions.
Easy Living

With three different sofa styles, and a choice of nine fabric colours, it’ll
be no problem finding the perfect sofa or armchair to match your living
room. Choose from the traditional ‘Sophie’ model, classic ‘Zara’
or modern ‘Kathryn’ range, each of which includes a two and
three seater sofa, and armchair. For an extra, individual touch, customers
can also add an occasional chair or storage stool in one of seven co-ordinating
patterns. For extra sleeping space why not opt for a sofa bed option, choose
from the Sophie or Zara designs or Milan in faux leather and Cotswold in
faux suede.
Fine Dining

As more people choose to entertain at home this year, a well-dressed dining
room is essential. From dining tables and chairs, to sideboards and dressers,
bookcases, coffee tables or entertainment units, the new ranges deliver
fine craftsmanship in a variety of different looks, all at affordable prices.
Beautiful Bedrooms

B&Q already offers a fully fitted, bespoke design bedroom service in
16 stores, and a range of freestanding and modular bedroom furniture options.
From August 2009 there are 12 new freestanding bedroom furniture ranges
to choose from all available to order for home delivery. Freestanding furniture
gives you greater flexibility for the room, while the styles can be timeless
and classic, or ultra modern. Also for the first time, the retailer will
offer mattresses and divans from Silentnight in sizes from single to super
king to ensure shoppers rest easy with their purchase.
Doing it for the Kids

Not forgetting boys’ and girls’ bedrooms, B&Q is also launching
a range of furniture specifically for children which will include ‘My
First Bed’ from Silentnight. Bright coloured chairs, sofas and toy
boxes will be included, as well as bunk beds, character headboards and special
chill out and ‘sleepover’ ranges.
Smart Studies
Whether working from home, or simply trying to organise the personal computer
area, the specifically designed new home study range will make the most
of the space.
