SANTA BABY COMES TO TOWN THIS CHRISTMAS


It looks like Peacocks customers are going to be treating their partners to an extra special Christmas this year! Over the past six weeks Peacocks has noticed that sales for sexy lingerie sets are up 22 per cent on last year.

Peacocks Lingerie Buyer, Kate Oswin says “The economic down turn is encouraging people to spend more time at home with their partners. Our customers have certainly been making the most of it in our ‘dress-up’ underwear ranges!”

Over the past few months functional underwear has risen by 70 per cent. This category includes multi-way bras, body slimming shorts and body shapers. Peacocks thinks this trend has been lead by the current fashion for one-shoulder dresses, off the shoulder proms and figure hugging cigarette style trousers and body con dresses.

Peacocks sells 100,000 pairs of briefs a week (3 for £5)
