Crabtree & Evelyn introduces India Hicks Island Night - a new fragrance
developed in collaboration with creative partner, India Hicks. Inspired
by her life in the Caribbean, Island Night captures the essence of twilight
in the islands, a mood of barefoot elegance on an evening lit only by the
stars and moon.
“‘I’ve always loved the feel of the island at night: the
light of the moon as it casts its spell, the midnight blue of a sea that
seems to go on forever and the sound of the waves sighing on the sand.
Perhaps it’s a reminder of holidays spent on an island or the years
of memories created here. Either way, to me, it is paradise.
“When dusk falls over the island, something beautiful unfolds. Many
flowers hide themselves for the evening, but others just begin to bloom,
sending their fragrance, like a love letter, whispered through

To create India Hicks Island Night, India worked closely with Crabtree &
Evelyn, from fragrance and formulation to packaging and design. She drew
inspiration from her surroundings; full moon
evenings, the scent of night-blooming flowers, shadows of stingrays flitting
over the sand bottom, anemone shells, amethyst crystals and her grandmother’s
antique mirror case. And the result is a unique fragrance, Island Night,
a delicate balance of orchids, night-blooming flowers, orange blossom, green
island palms and a woody musk accord that takes you to her tropical garden
and an
enchanted world of possibility.
India Hicks Island Night body care is luxurious; exotic mango, evening primrose,
and coconut oil are blended along with skin-softening milk proteins and
crushed pearl extract to smooth the skin and leave a luminous sheen. India
Hicks Island Night fragrance diffuser and candle, in amethyst colored glass
with silver accents,
are decorative statement pieces for the home that infuse the air with the
scent of an island evening under the stars.
The Island Night collection has been awarded the Royal Warrant by HRH Prince
of Wales. The collection includes Eau de Toilette, Evening Fragrance Compact
with Enhancer, Creamy Body Wash,
Milky Bath, Rich Body Cream, Smooth Body Lotion, Scented Candle and Fragrance
Diffuser.
All India Hicks Island Night Body products are free of parabens, mineral
oil, sodium lauryl and laureth sulfate, propylene glycol, and colorants.

of an evening in the islands. It containing over 20% Coconut and mango oils
to nourish and moisturize as well as silk
