David Emanuel has designs on Bonmarché
Bonmarché, the UK’s leading value fashion store for real women and part of the Peacock Group announces today (1 April 2007) a collaboration with leading couturier David Emanuel.
The new premium range will launch in 100 of its top stores in September 2007 and will be a stylish and easy-to-wear 60 piece statement range of smart day and evening wear for women. The added value designer range will be more embellished and detailed, sizes will run from 10 to 20 with average prices being £18 for blouses, £35 for dresses, knitwear from £20 and trousers from £25. The first two signature collections will be Poiret; a range of tunics and easy day time pieces in dark rose, black and ivory and Maiden; a soft range of tunics, dresses and long-line knits in chocolate, mink, biscuit and heather with gold highlights. Prints are inky florals and mix and match effects.
David Emanuel, a graduate from the Royal College of Art has designed fabulous clothes for members of the British and European royal families and some of the world’s most beautiful women including HRH The Duchess of Kent, Lesley Garrett, Jane Seymour, Joan Collins, Faye Dunaway, Ivana Trump, Patsy Kensit, Madonna and Elizabeth Taylor...and his most famous commission to co-design the wedding dress for Lady Diana Spencer for her marriage to Prince Charles.
David established his own label in 1990 and has developed his own individual chic - from elegant, simple daywear to cocktail and evening dresses and he will now make this signature style accessible to Bonmarché’s customers across the country.
