On 25th October, The Perfume Shop launched a four-day pop up shop in the heart of Covent Garden to celebrate the brand in the run up to Christmas. The pop up showcased top Christmas offerings for 2018 as well as an experiential room to reveal the transformative power of perfume by grouping fragrance by four emotions.
The Pop Up celebrated how perfume can affect your mood, focusing on scents to make people feel sexy, calm, invigorated or happy. For the first time in The Perfume Shop’s history, perfumes were grouped together to explore the way they make you feel and the stores experts were on hand to guide customers through the different mood zones and perfumes on offer to help them discover something new. Also at the pop up shop were expert hand masseuses to offer guests a sensual relaxing experience to heighten their mood and experience through their senses.
Workshops took place throughout the four days including a session run by beauty editor and social media influencer Nadine Baggott where she spoke about discovering perfume and finding your ‘snuggle scents’. Nadine’s fans and members of the public were invited to sit and listen to her.
The pop up also offered the public a bespoke engraving service to get their favourite perfumes engraved with messages and names. On the night before the opening, we hosted a press preview event. Prosecco was flowing and canapes were enjoyed by guests on the night as they browsed the different areas of the venue and took selfies in the gift tunnel which was layered with hundreds of Christmas gift boxes. Overall, the pop up was a great success and we look forward to planning more events in 2019! Watch this space!
