Lakeland and Mary Berry launch enamel cookware and textiles range
Today, Wednesday 19th September 2018, Lakeland announces the launch of a brand new range of enamel cookware and textiles in collaboration with Mary Berry.
Specially developed with Mary Berry, ‘the Queen of Cakes’, the range of baking tins, enamelware and kitchen textiles have all been created to make cooking and baking easier for Lakeland customers with all being given the seal of approval by Mary Berry.
Each piece of the enamelware collection is versatile, beautifully coated in hard-wearing enamel, lightweight and easy to handle, they also stack together with the rest of the range, so they’re easy to store. Super-smooth, the enamel coating releases food swiftly, making it easy to clean and because it’s good old-fashioned enamel, it’s guaranteed to be free from PFOA and PTFE too. Made from durable carbon steel under their sleek enamel coat, every pie dish, plate and pudding basin in this range will withstand oven temperatures up to 230°C.
Prices start at £5.49 for a 22cm pie plate
Also launching today at Lakeland are the Mary Berry with Lakeland textiles, which have been designed and made in the UK from 100% cotton. The range offers pretty protection whilst cooking and baking, and all are machine-washable.
The stars and stripes fabric print on the range is designed by UK designer Will Crisp, and made for Lakeland in Norwich by the British Textile Company.
Each item in the range has been manufactured with attention to even the smallest details. The Apron, made from pure cotton, is extra-wide to protect more of you from splashes and smears, and really good quality too – just as you’d expect from an apron that’s been designed and made in the UK and approved by Mary Berry. The long neck strap is easy to adjust with riveted press-stud fastenings that are ideal for anyone who hates the faff of fiddling with a sliding buckle fastener or trying to tie comfortable knots. Stitched onto the front is a divided patch pocket with plenty of room inside for kitchen timers, or useful bits and bobs, it’s also double-stitched all around the edges for extra strength
Veronica Davidson, Buyer at Lakeland said: ‘We are delighted to be able to offer these new & exclusive ranges which we have designed in partnership with Mary Berry. The Lakeland buying team have worked with Mary for many years and we have collaboratively invested a great deal of time in making sure that everything is produced to both our exacting standards. Lovely to look at as well as to use, they make great gifts for cooks and bakers at every level of confidence, and if you’re treating yourself to new things for your kitchen, why not give yourself something that Mary approves of?’
