#CraftTogether virtually this Christmas with Hobbycraft
This September, we were very excited to host our very first virtual event in place of a physical event with our client Hobbycraft, to launch the retailer’s new festive range.
We worked closely with the Hobbycraft team to host its #CraftTogether this Christmas event fronted by experts, Lauren and Samantha, who provided an overview of the fantastic new Christmas range, trends and delivered key statistics from the How We Got Hooked Report which provided a holistic view of the increasing popularity of crafting.
To encourage guests to get creative and into the festive spirit, expert illustrator Becki Clark hosted an interactive mini masterclass on all things ceramic bauble and eco gift wrap decorating. Ahead of the event, guests received a package filled with items from the Christmas range and craft materials relating to the fun masterclass themes, along with festive refreshments and treats to enjoy!
The event was hosted on the platform Slido which enabled us to use a private YouTube Live stream to create seamless transitions between the hosts situated in different rooms.
There were three sessions with a total of 36 attendees from various national and interior titles as well as craft and interior influencers throughout the day:
10:00am – 10:45am – 11 attendees
1pm – 1:45pm – 15 attendees
6pm – 6:45pm – 10 attendees
The virtual event saw 107 Instagram posts to promote the event, with a total reach of 397,910.
Take a look at the sessions from the event.
