Beauty lovers are being urged to snap up advent calendars early this year to avoid missing out as Superdrug announces it has cut the prices of its range by as much as half price.  Last year Superdrug started selling out of beauty advent calendars in September, and this year the collection is already flying off shelves.

Already since the collection launched on 22nd August, searches for ‘Christmas’ and ‘advent calendars’ on have increased by 60 per cent and 30 per cent respectively when compared to last year.

To keep up with demand Superdrug has doubled its range of advents as shoppers ditch chocolate for daily beauty or grooming treats. The range has 11 calendars including Studio (WAS £26, NOW £18), which includes mini mascaras, nail polishes, lipsticks, brushes, sponges and more, and Flutter (WAS £16, NOW £8) with treat sized blushers, lip glosses, lip creams and beauty accessories. For those wanted to go all out, there is show-stopping giant Revolution Advent Calendar (WAS £120, NOW £80) which includes 25 full sized makeup products as well as a Lip Beauty Advent Calendar from Revolution (WAS £50, NOW £40) featuring a selection of lip products for every occasion.

Following the success of last year’s best-seller the Beauty and the Beast Disney beauty calendar, another Disney princess is set to take centre stage. The Snow White 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar (WAS £14, NOW £7) hosts miniature lipsticks, nail varnishes and beauty accessories and is set to be a favourite.

There is also a range of beauty advents for men with Bristle & Smith (WAS £18, NOW £9), which comprises beard wash, shave balm, body lotion, body wash, grooming tools, and an exclusive Lynx advent (WAS £25, NOW £15) with a selection of the brands classic body sprays, hair wax and grooming accessories.
